AI Platform Engineer
Summary
Join Expedient's AI CTRL product team to build and scale the infrastructure powering our containerized AI platform. You'll create the robust backbone for enterprise-scale AI services, working directly with our Division COO in a high-impact, high-growth environment. Deep AI expertise isn't required—bring your mastery of Kubernetes, Elastic Stack, and cloud infrastructure
Key Responsibilities
- Build & Deploy: Design and maintain Kubernetes-based cloud infrastructure for AI CTRL's containerized services
- Orchestrate & Scale: Manage clusters, deployments, and auto-scaling to meet performance targets
- Monitor & Optimize: Implement comprehensive observability using Elastic Stack; continuously tune for efficiency
- Secure & Protect: Ensure infrastructure meets strict security and compliance standards
- Collaborate & Support: Partner with developers and engineers; translate complex infrastructure into simple terms
- Troubleshoot & Improve: Rapidly resolve issues and drive continuous platform enhancements
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or cloud platform engineering with production-scale infrastructure experience.
- Technical Expertise: Strong Kubernetes and Docker proficiency. Experience with Elastic Stack (or similar) for monitoring/logging. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, IaC tools (Terraform, Helm). Solid Linux, networking, and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP) foundation. Scripting skills (Python, Bash) for automation.

- Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Cloud/Kubernetes certifications are a plus.
Location: Cleveland, Ohio office. On-site role, regional travel may be required.
Salary for this position will be based on your experience and your skills. Estimated salary range is $100,000 to $150,000 annually.
