  • Contribute to speaking engagements and written content, offering nuanced messaging and compelling perspectives on technology.

  • Assist members of the revenue team in identifying and allocating appropriate resources, ensuring efficient and accurate deal completion.
  • Lead project stakeholders in creative and adaptable problem-solving, ensuring project success on both the client and Expedient sides.
  • Provide additional solution design recommendations, particularly for projects with significant scale, scope, complexity, or supportability challenges.
  • Field CTOs are often engaged early in the sales process to provide valuable insights during initial client encounters or to consult on opportunities as they progress.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of technical experience (e.g., software architecture, data engineering, cloud infrastructure).
  • Deep knowledge of the company’s domain (e.g., SaaS, data platforms, AI/ML, cybersecurity, etc.).

  • Ability to whiteboard complex systems and explain architecture to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments and how modern software integrates with them.
  • Track record of aligning technology to business outcomes.
  • Ability to engage C-level executives and influence decisions.
  • Experience working with product teams to shape roadmaps based on field feedback.
  • Familiarity with go-to-market strategies and how technology drives revenue.
  • Extensive experience in technical sales, solution architecture, or a related field within the IT and cloud services industry.
  • Proven ability to engage with both technical and business-focused stakeholders, demonstrating strong empathy and communication skills.
  • Experience in managing complex projects and coordinating technical teams.
  • Strong thought leadership capabilities, with experience in public speaking and content creation.
  • Ability to provide strategic technical recommendations and innovative solutions for large-scale, complex projects.
