Cloud Channel Marketing Manager

Expedient is seeking a Senior Channel Marketing Manager to join our national marketing team. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this role will develop, implement, execute, and lead marketing initiatives focused on our essential channel partners.  

This is a highly visible role within Expedient and requires a self-starter who will work across teams and proactively develop a channel marketing strategy and initiatives that drive engagement with and through channel partners that in-turn target Enterprise as well as Small/Medium Enterprise (SME).

Expedient will not work with third-party search firms for this role. Sponsorship is not provided. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assess current channel programs and their alignment to organizational and marketing objectives 
  • Formulate strategy to optimize execution across all partner types
  • Define initiatives to Identify, Enable, Activate, and Reward partners
  • Partner with the Vice President of Marketing, sales, and corporate leadership to advocate for partners and assure the company is building confidence and trust with all channel partners
  • Develop and manage OKRs (Objective/ Key Results whatmatters.com) for channel marketing aligned to those of the broader team
  • Plan and manage the annual budget for channel marketing in partnership with leadership
  • Work with leadership and OEM vendors in formulating and executing a symbiotic strategy that effectively manages and deploys Market Development Funds (MDF)
  • Monitor competition and market broadly to understand and assess competitive threats and opportunities
  • Build impactful, compelling content including but not limited to presentations, web content, videos, snackable/social content, collateral, campaigns, promotional elements, etc. Content will be employed to engage partners and help them communicate and deliver the combined value of their competencies with those of Expedient to the market nationwide
  • Own day-to-day channel marketing performance


REQUIRED

  • 7+ years of experience in channel marketing role in an organization(s) focused on cloud computing including but not limited to hyperscale cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) or the hyperscale channel network, MSP/CSP, and cloud-centric System Integrators.
  • Proven experience and expertise working with large OEM vendors (in the IT vertical)
  • Excellent analytical, written, and communication skills, with the ability to prepare and deliver presentations to all levels within the organization
  • Ability to Be Calm and Carry On, navigating through, and driving significant and rapid growth
  • Consistent experience analyzing data within the marketing funnel in order to identify and size growth opportunities
  • Must love data! Proven ability to think strategically and develop comprehensive, data-driven channel marketing plans
  • Grit and willingness to test, and re-test continuously with a strong problem/ solution mindset
  • Demonstrable ability to create compelling content for prospects and channel partners
  • Thought leadership and a find-a-way mentality to improve performance
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred but not required)
