Expedient is in search of a dynamic and seasoned Director of Sales Enablement to join our team. The Director of Sales Enablement will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving our professional sales culture of success. You will be an inspiring, hands-on coach and teacher who is both credible and trustworthy, enabling our teams to achieve their highest potential. This role will be key to developing and executing strategies to enhance the productivity, knowledge, and effectiveness of our sales teams. As an individual contributor, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our sales teams are well-equipped for success.

Candidates outside of Columbus, Ohio or Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania should expect 25% travel.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Sales Enablement program aligned with key sales objectives and revenue goals.
  • Foster a sales culture of mentorship and knowledge sharing.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to understand needs, expectations, and priorities.
  • Design and execute sales training programs, continuously optimizing them to align with business objectives and to drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • Partner with field sales management to develop and implement comprehensive field sales coaching programs.
  • Design, implement, and manage onboarding programs for new sales hires.
  • Gather feedback from the sales ecosystem, client success, revenue operations, marketing, and the product team to continuously improve sales enablement efforts.
  • Create and maintain sales playbooks and strategies for building partner and client relationships and handling objections.
  • Manage and administer the existing LMS platform (Brainshark).
  • Develop and present Quarterly Business Reviews that drive alignment with the team and report on previous quarter results.
  • Collaborate with marketing to maximize the value of all MarTech tools (e.g., 6Sense; Sendoso, Mediafly).
Skills and Experience Needed:
  • 5 years of experience in “Enterprise Technology Sales” enablement, sales training, and GTM development roles.
  • Demonstrated success previous success with change management working with sales management teams to modify and change enterprise sales team behaviors
  • Strong background in leading sales enablement and demonstrated success with:
    • a sales force focused on enterprise technology B2B and channel selling to the global 5,000 companies;
    • the ability to inspire and motivate sales teams;
    • a strong understanding of enterprise sales processes, methodologies and learning principles;
    • building strong relationship and acting as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders;
    • the Sandler Sales Methodology (or equivalent);
    • developing onboarding programs for sales teams that accelerate their ramp;
    • designing and implementing impactful training programs, sales playbooks, and certification paths.
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills and a programmatic mindset.
  • Proficiency in using third-party tools to create interactive and engaging training.
  • Proficiency in Brainshark LMS, Salesforce, and the ability to optimize the usage of MarTech tools, such as 6Sense, Mediafly, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Sendoso, and ZoomInfo in the sales process.
  • Proven experience applying learning strategies to sales kickoff events.
  • Dedication to cultivating a culture of continuous learning and sales excellence.
  • Understanding of how to utilize AI to enhance sales productivity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, business, or a related discipline is preferred.
The listed salary range for this position is an estimate based on the competitive job market. True compensation will be based on your own individual experience and skills and what you bring to the table. Estimated annual salary is $120k to $140k plus variable compensation for an OTE of $175k to $180k.
