Front Desk Administrator

We have an immediate need for a Front Desk Administrator to join the team in our Pittsburgh, PA operational headquarters.

This is an administrative position responsible for managing the front reception area as well as handling a wide variety of various clerical job tasks.  This highly visible position is a great opportunity for someone with a friendly, warm personality willing to provide assistance with filing, data entry, scanning and documentation. Because this position handles filing, data, sorting documents and other clerical tasks, a strong attention to the details is necessary.

  • Monitor access points of the Expedient office, screen visitors according to security guidelines and greet visitors when they arrive, assisting them with finding their destination and introducing them to the individual(s) they are there to meet
  • Consistently maintain a friendly, professional attitude 
  • Monitor and restock office supplies for general use and for conference rooms
  • Administrative tasks to support the contracts team as well as to help the billing and accounting teams including filing, scanning/copying, data entry, mailings, etc.


  • No less than 2 years of experience working in an administrative role in a professional environment  
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills are a must; as well as proficient typing speed and accuracy
  • Reliability and punctuality are critical
  • A cooperative approach to working with others as well as a strong work ethic  
  • Individual organization and prioritization skills are a must
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) are required
  • A clear understanding of the value of superior customer service is necessary – for both internal customers (co-workers) and external customers
